Porcelain and Ceramic
Porcelain floors are made up of ceramic man-made tiles which can be glazed or un-glazed. This is a very popular floor for its ease of installation and maintenance. Porcelain tiles are growing in popularity in both the domestic and commercial markets. Producers are now able to replicate a range of natural stones, finishes and designs but with the additional benefit of being durable, strong and easy to clean. Current production methods can produce porcelain to resemble Marble, Slate, Limestone, Granite, Travertine and Quartzite. Porcelain can be made in larger sizes than their natural stone counterparts. It is very strong and with little chipping it has low maintenance costs. Through improper cleaning and sealing there can be a build up of detergent and smears. To eradicate this we use specialised cleaning products to restore its original condition.
